Brain Snacks was borne out of a frustration with the lack of ‘actual’ healthy snacks in the corporate world. It was one of those lightbulb moments. Back in 2015 Kate was at a two day planning workshop where the only snacks available were muffins, biscuits and a bottomless bowl of mints. A recovering snack food junkie, she made the most of what was available. By 3pm that first day, she was absolutely spent; tired, lethargic with little brain reserve to contribute value. And the second day? Well that was a total whitewash. A single thought did emerge from this sugar induced haze. It just didn’t make sense that a company would invest so much money to bring people together for important business planning only to provide processed, empty carbs that drain energy like a bucket with holes. There had to be another way. Now Brain Snacks is here to help employers nudge their people towards healthier eating options. Because what we eat impacts how we feel, think and show up for life.
